USB 4.0 Gen3 C-type offers the latest in USB connector technology

Suntsu’s USB 4.0 Gen3 C-type provides the latest and greatest in USB Connector technology. It is compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and offers a maximum data transmission speed of 40Gb/s. The USB C-Type can also provide up to 100W of power with a 5A current rating. This version has a 24-pin PCB mount with a distinctive EMI design on the back of the receptacle shell to eradicate EMI leakage.

First introduced in 1996, the USB's maximum signalling rate was 12Mb/s. In 2019, the USB 4.0 boasting even faster speeds and increased port usage. These USBs also provide backward compatibility with their predecessors and other standard inputs.

Key features of the latest device include delivering power of 100W max with excellent signal integrity performance. It is TID certified with a temperature range of -55C to +85C. The device provides up to 10,000 mating cycles and an insertion force of 5N to 20N.
