Five chip LEDs optimised for forward lighting applications

ams OSRAM OSLON Black Flat X KW5 HQL631.TK LEDs are high-performance five-chip light-emitting diodes optimised for forward lighting applications. These high-efficiency LEDs provide up to 2140lm at 1000mA, making them excellent replacements for halogen lamps. The pad geometry of the OSLON Black platform delivers excellent thermal performance, allowing developers to lessen heatsink size or remove it from the application design completely.

The LEDs offer an extremely high contrast 1:200 design due to the black case material and TiO2 casting. These devices are provided in a compact 8.81mm x 3.75mm x 0.5mm package ideal for high-density applications.

Typical applications areas include automotive headlamps, low beam/high beam, halogen replacements, and night vision.
