Multi-mode low-noise digital microphones supplied in a small package

TDK InvenSense T5837 and T5838 Bottom Port Microphones are multi-node low-noise digital microphones offered in a small package. These microphones comprise of a MEMS microphone element and an impedance converter amplifier followed with a fifth order Σ-Δ modulator. A digital interface enables the pulse density modulated output of two microphones to be time multiplexed on a single data line utilising a single clock.

These microphones are provided in a standard 3.5mm x 2.65mm x 0.98mm surface mount package with multiple modes of operation. They are compatible with Sn/Pb and Pb-free solder processes and are RoHS/WEEE compliant.
