Hinged-lid GRP enclosures now available in eight sizes

ROLEC’s polyDOOR hinged-lid enclosures for industrial electronics are now offered in eight sizes, either with or without a transparent display window.

Weather-resistant polyDOOR (IP 66) is excellent for tough industrial and outdoor applications where equipment must be serviced or inspected regularly – such as processing, machine control, safety monitoring or marine electronics. These easy-access GRP (UL 94 V-0) enclosures are ideal for applications where chemicals are a risk.

Cleverly designed integrated hinges enable the lid to be removed quickly. The lid is locked with polyamide fixings – with standard slotted screw heads, triangular or square heads (to stop tampering) or hand screws for fast access. Inside are threaded pillars for mounting PCBs, terminal rails and component assemblies.

Robust enclosure is now offered in eight sizes, from 140mm x 120mm x 100mm to 320mm x 200mm x 120mm. The standard colour is similar to RAL 7032 pebble grey.

Accessories and options comprise the choice of lid fixings, external mounting brackets, cable glands, a silicon gasket, a mounting plate, cross rails, and DIN rails for terminal block assemblies.

The company can supply the enclosure fully customised. Services include CNC machining, digital printing of legends, logos and graphics, and assembly/installation of accessories.
