SMPM cable assemblies combat high‐vibration environments

Amphenol RF has introduced high-performance SMPM cable assemblies developed on industry‐standard flexible cable types. This micro‐miniature interface is generally employed in high‐frequency applications and is excellent for high-vibration environments when coupled with limited or full detent receptacle jacks.

These assemblies provide straight and right-angle plug-to-plug configurations on 0.085" flexible cable. They present reliable electrical performance up to 18GHz and are offered in standard imperial lengths ranging from 3" to 48" with metric lengths from 100mm to 2000mm. Custom lengths are available upon request.

SMPM connectors provide a push‐on mating style that provides for quick installation. The microminiature size makes this interface excellent for antennas, testing and laboratory equipment, defence, quantum computing and radar applications.

These cable assemblies add to a robust portfolio of high‐performance SMPM products, including further pre‐configured assemblies.
