High-current inductor for automotive applications void thermal ageing

Würth Elektronik offers WE-LHCA – a particularly flat and temperature-tough inductor in four sizes with different inductance values. The power inductors are developed for an extended temperature range of -55C to +155C and are constructed to avoid thermal degradation. The AEC-Q200-certified inductor is ideal for high-current power supplies, start-stop systems, power distribution modules, onboard chargers, infotainment or HVAC systems.

The inductor family comprises the following sizes: 7030 (L = 0.47-22µH), 1040 (L = 1-68µH), 1365 (L = 1-47µH) and 1770 (L = 4.7-82µH). These components provide a low-profile shielded construction with a distributed air gap in iron alloy powder.
