Embedded communication solution now available from stock

Deutschmann Automation has announced the UNIGATE IC2 embedded solution to serve customer demand ahead of schedule. The powerful all-in-one bus nodes of the UNIGATE IC2 series supply a comprehensive family of various iIndustrial Ethernet and Fieldbus communications modules.

The pre-certified embedded communication interface can be easily and directly integrated into an industrial terminal device or sensor system without changing the firmware. As an alternative to customers' own developed interfaces, the embedded series greatly optimises development costs and the final product's market time.

The embedded series is based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor technology, providing fast communication to the application side via SPI or UART. The 45mm x 25mm compact board incorporates the MCU, Flash memory, RAM, optocoupler and bus driver.

The protocol connection between the UNIGATE IC2 and the terminal device is implemented via the company's proprietary script language, which ensures high flexibility and complexity. The company provides the free Protocol Developer Tool for generating the script.

Under the brand name UNIGATE, the company delivers various series of industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus gateways, embedded solutions, and protocol converters for network-compatible systems. Compatible data communication products are developed and manufactured in Germany.
