Inelco Hunter has announced the launch of its latest STM32 Touch Display in a larger 10.1" size, expanding the range of cost-effective STM32 displays. The screens incorporate PCAP Touch Technology and are available in sizes from 3.5" to the new 10.1".
There is a considerable variety of possible uses, unlocking the potential of end products in application areas such as HVAC controllers, industrial automation, medical devices, home technology, IoT products, communication systems, and more.
The STM32 Interface Board includes the powerful Arm Cortex-M7 MCU with a 480MHz core, 16MB SDRAM, 32MB QSPI Flash, and an optional 8GB EMMC. The displays feature onboard USB, I2C, UART, CAN, SPI, and microSD card interfaces.
The STM32 displays support RTC and provide reconfigurable GPIO for flexible design. An onboard 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface with a built-in PHY IC is provided.
Screen brightness ranges from 450cd/m2 to 1,000cd/m2, with up to 1280x800px resolution and a full viewing angle display (80/80/80/80). The displays include TouchGFX application templates and a free Software library for a smartphone-like GUI. Backlight control is via PWM.
Time-to-market is crucial, so the easy-to-use TouchGFX Plug & Play software will enable developers to swiftly define the display's graphic touch interface using graphic icons from the supplied library stock. In addition, custom graphic blocks can be quickly generated, or Graphics can be uploaded directly to the system from external sources.
The company provides its BSP, allowing customers to develop using STM32CubeIDE or KEIL MDK. This effectively turns the display into a standalone embedded module.
Remote access and cloud connection are very simple. A single power source provides panel, or flush mounting and integration into the end product is also simple. The touchscreen display and the STM32 interface board are supplied pre-assembled.
