Compact and cost-competitive series of pressure transducers for heavy-duty applications

Powell Electronics offers Honeywell's MIP series heavy-duty, media-isolated pressure transducers. The products' compact stainless steel construction makes them excellent for use with a wide range of media, including aggressive fluids and water. They deliver a very cost-competitive solution for a wide range of applications in tough environments where the sensor functionality and the necessity to know internal or external failure modes are critical.

Multiple configuration possibilities for MIP series pressure transducers supply flexibility of use in the application with no up-front NRE or tooling charges. The outstanding long-term stability, insulation resistance and dielectric strength, external freeze-thaw resistance for Metri-Pack 150 versions and great EMC performance make the transducers ideal for usage in tough environments. The Total Error Band (TEB) ±0.75%FSS (Full Scale Span) from -40C up to +125C for ratiometric output supplies true measurement performance over the compensated temperature range. A 4mA up to 20mA output allows transmission of output signals over longer distances. The hermetically welded design supports almost any media without an internal seal.
