Extended range of optical jack sockets is now available

Cliff Electronics has extended its popular range of optical jack sockets, which are widely used in communication systems where fibre-optic connectivity supplies increased immunity to noise. These products improve the company's reputation in the optical market, delivering more solutions for customers.

The company's optical jacks meet the industry standard footprint and can be utilised in various applications such as Digital Optical Data Links, Sound Cards, Set Top Boxes, Televisions and Audio Equipment including Amplifiers, DVD players and MDs.

The new range comprises optical transmitters and receivers, featuring high-speed signal transmission (up to 16Mbps) and low power consumption.

Key models include:

FCR684214T and FCR684215T (optical transmitters) offer TTL input compatibility and a +3~+5V power source. Applications include DVD players, TVs, sound cards, and set-top boxes.

FCR684214R and FCR684215R (optical receivers) offer high PD sensitivity for red light and low current dissipation, suited for amplifiers, audio equipment, and digital optical data links.

FCR684216T and FCR684216R are similar to the above models but provide further mounting options for panel installation.

FCR684217T, FCR684217R, FCR684218T, and FCR684218R feature self-tapping holes for easy panel mounting.

All versions have TTL-compatible inputs and require a +3~+5V power source.
