Designing electronics that need high-voltage axial leaded resistors can be demanding due to limited product availability and high costs. Stackpole Electronics addresses these challenges with the HVA series axial leaded high voltage resistors. The series combines innovative metal film technology with cost-effective manufacturing to provide reliable, high-performance solutions at competitive prices.

The series provides a wide resistance range from 1MOhm up to 1GOhm in tolerances as low as 1% and TCR of 200ppm. With VCR as low as 20ppm/V, the series ensures superior stability in demanding high-voltage applications.

The voltage and power ratings for the HVA by size are HVA05: 0.5W, 6mm L x 2.5mm D size, 3500V working volts; HVA08: 0.8W, 8.5mm L x 3mm D size, 7000V working volts; and the HVA12: 1.2W, 11mm L x 4mm D size, 8000V working volts.

The HVA is ideal for high voltage sensing and instrumentation, measurement and instrumentation, and medical applications.
