Synaptics Incorporated are unveiling a new family of MCUs and a new family of SoCs designed for a wide range of ultra-low-power IoT devices that exhibit contextually-aware AI and ultra-reliable wireless connectivity.

For IoT system designers, the capacity to combine ultra-low-power (ULP), multimodal IoT, contextually-aware AI, and outstanding wireless rate-over-range with reliable interoperability, all with surprisingly low system cost, will be unprecedented.

The devices that the company’s new products support include smartwatches and other wearables, consumer audio, appliances, security cameras, asset trackers, and factory automation systems, with the opportunity to add powerful functions such as predictive maintenance, enhanced security, and intuitive user experiences.
