Fitting an IP-rated junction box into a tight space on a machine or wall can be challenging for engineers and technicians. Bud Industries has introduced the PNB Series, an IP67-rated plastic enclosure with knockouts. Lightweight and readily mountable into tight spaces with only two screws, the enclosure is more economical than comparable enclosures.

The series enclosures serve multiple indoor uses, including control boxes, Wi-Fi and RF device housing, lighting, and access controls. The high level of protection, including against temporary submersion, makes them excellent for harsh indoor environments and factory washdowns.

The enclosures feature a clever mounting design that maximises internal space while retaining a compact footprint. The integrated mounting flanges fit within the overall dimensions of the box.

Three sizes are available, ranging from 3.57" x 2.07" x 1.77" to 3.96" x 3.57" x 1.77". Each series enclosure features two or four convenient 21mm (0.82") knockouts for versatile component installation. The ABS plastic construction allows cost-effective manufacturing while producing high strength, exceptional electrical insulation properties, and durability. Clear polycarbonate covers are an option.

A tight-fitting cover with captive screws and a continuous gasket facilitates its high protection rating.

The PNB Series enclosures are ideal for installation in environments that span a wide temperature range (-40C to +70C). They are RoHS compliant with UL94-HB and V-0 ratings for the ABS components.

Custom internal panels are obtainable separately for further mounting flexibility.
