Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the 85x1N and 89x1N IoT wireless vibration sensors from TE Connectivity. Both versions of the vibration sensor bring excellent stability and longevity to industrial condition monitoring. Lightweight and compact, the wireless vibration sensors slot into tight spaces in applications, including pumping systems, oil and gas equipment monitoring, gearboxes and turbines, and industrial IoT end-to-end platforms.

The vibration sensors provide a wide bandwidth of up to 10kHz, compared to 4kHz in standard MEMS-based models. The 85x1N series implements BLE, while the 89x1N uses LoRaWAN technology. The sensors support short and long-range monitoring and include edge computing, permitting users to configure settings and features as needed. Both the 85x1N and 89x1N series provide IP66/67 protection and are designed to support harsh environments.

The 85x1N and 89x1N sensors are certified by ATEX, CE, CSA, FCC, and NEC. These sensors require minimal maintenance, up to ten years of battery life, and a high-stability piezoelectric core. Compatible with industrial standard mounting techniques, the vibration sensors are straightforward to install in existing locations and machinery. The sensors can be employed with the TE SensorConnect app for iOS and Android.
