Saelig Company, Inc. now offers the Sensor Technology SGR525/526 Series Torque Sensors to deliver excellent accuracy, reliability, and ease of use. The square drive design permits for seamless integration into power tools, test rigs, industrial machinery and precision fastening applications, ensuring superior torque measurement without the necessity for additional adapters or modifications. Specifically designed for square drives, these transducers offer a seamless fit, improving measurement accuracy and stability in applications with non-cylindrical shafts. The SGR525 offers torque measurement only, while the SGR526 provides torque, speed, and power measurement using a 360 pulse per revolution encoder.
The transducers use non-contact technology for accurate torque measurement, eradicating noisy slip rings. Features include Male/Female Square Shaft Ends, BIT diagnostics, a wide range of digital outputs (USB, Ethernet, RS232, CANbus), and configurable analog channels. Non-contact technology eradicates the necessity for noisy slip rings, making them ideal for torque auditing applications. The series use modern strain gauge signal conditioning techniques to supply a high bandwidth, low-cost torque measuring solution with high overrange and overload capabilities.
The SGR525/526 Torque Sensors cater to industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and research and development, where precision torque monitoring is vital for performance and safety.
