WIN SOURCE introduces the BQ27200DRKR, an advanced fuel gauge IC from Texas Instruments, developed to deliver accurate battery monitoring for portable applications that demand precise power management.

The device is a single-cell Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery fuel gauge that allows developers to accurately track battery capacity, state of charge, and time-to-empty, improving battery-powered devices' reliability and user experience. With its unique Impedance Track technology, the device offers high-accuracy measurement, automatically adjusting for battery ageing, discharge rates, and environmental factors, which enables it to deliver real-time, dependable information on battery status.

Key features of the device include its ultra-low power consumption, making it perfect for portable applications where maximising battery life is crucial. It operates at a minimal current in active and standby modes, extending the device's battery life without compromising the accuracy of the monitoring data.
