Electrical vehicle connectors offer unique integrated electric interlock

Aptiv HV RCS 800 Electrical Vehicle Connectors, available now from Mouser, are supplied in a compact package with a unique integrated electric interlock. The connectors offer an integrated ErgoMate Axial Mating Assist System on the harness connector that ensures easy assembly. The header is sealed in mated and unmated positions. The series offers a cost-effective design due to the direct connection between the female connector and male terminals within the device. The connectors incorporate unique and safe mating screwing with an innovative Screw Position Assurance feature.

The connectors operate from -40C to +125C temperature range, with 210A max current at +85C and 1000VDC maximum voltage. The devices provide V1 vibration level, IP67/IP6K9K sealing class and IP2XB electrical protection.

Typical applications include AC/DC inverters, DC-DC converters, HV batteries, power electric boxes, and HV power-distribution units.
