Silanna: World’s First Buck Converter IC with Adaptive Power Sharing

Silanna Semiconductor introduces SZPL3002A, a compact buck converter IC featuring intelligent power sharing and USB PD/FC port controller. The IC simplifies 65W fast charger and adapter applications, supporting up to four ports with high efficiency and reduced component count. The device combines a synchronous buck converter and an advanced port controller in a small 5mm x 5mm package. It offers USB PD V3.0 Type C and QC2.0/3.0/4.0/5.0 support, enabling power adaptation to device requirements. The IC also provides multiple pre-loaded power contract configurations and power re-balancing features.
