Renesas Electronics Corporation has launched its online Market Place, which provides a one-stop source of solutions that assist in accelerating technical innovation for the future mobility market. Developers can download different solutions developed for the company’s R-Car automotive SoCs directly from the Market Place. Developers can also use the solution as a portal to acquire reference evaluation software from R-Car Consortium Proactive Partners or contact Proactive Partner companies directly, providing for timely support to match customer needs.

Through the solution, developers can quickly and effortlessly access R-Car evaluation software, documentation including hardware manuals, application notes, technical updates, and basic software such as Linux and Android BSPs. Created to boost the efficiency of mobility system development, the site will contribute to decreasing the time needed for development and jump-start evaluation projects employing R-Car Starter Kits. Previously, to acquire these assets, developers had to sign a written software evaluation license agreement – a time-consuming process. With the new site, after creating an account, developers can receive the necessary software and related materials instantly by applying for a click-through license. The site also provides user-friendly technical videos that give extra details on the usage and features of R-Car products.
