Vector now delivers products and solutions for measurements on high-voltage systems. The new e-mobility measurement system from the company and CSM allows users to conduct fast and time-synchronous multi-channel measurements in high-voltage cables and components. Together with CSM hardware modules and the company's measurement software vMeasure exp or CANape, developers can calculate and simultaneously display variables including active power, efficiency, shielding current and ripple in real-time. The new system can be employed in the development of electric drives and EVs.
The system is scalable and adaptable for measuring tasks on individual components up to complex analyses of whole EVs. With its powerful measurement technology, the user can obtain physical signals, messages from ECU and bus communication synchronously and with high accuracy in one measurement. This makes it simpler to identify dependencies, evaluate quality, check legal necessities and detect potential sources of error quicker. The system can obtain measurement data from driver testing, on the test bench and in the laboratory. The developer acquires analyses in real-time instead of having to carry out evaluations in the laboratory afterwards.
The system comprises the measurement software vMeasure exp with the integrated function library eMobilityAnalyzer for analysis and real-time calculation and the certified CSM hardware measurement modules, which deliver high-voltage safety. The measurement system fits seamlessly into the company tool chain. This provides easy connection to bus and ECU interfaces, analysis tools, automated documentation and the measurement data management system. It is ideal for users at OEMs and suppliers who produce components, vehicle electrical systems or prototypes related to electromobility.
