Automotive-compliant LDO delivers superior PSRR

Diodes Incorporated introduces the AP7347DQ LDO voltage regulator, which is highly optimised for demanding noise-sensitive power-related automotive applications. This automotive-compliant high output accuracy LDO is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified, produced in IATF 16949 certified facilities, and supports automotive PPAPs. These qualities make it ideal for design in a range of vital in-vehicle functions, including POL applications in ADAS, RF subsystems, automotive wireless communication systems, and infotainment power sources.

A 75dB PSRR, together with an output noise of just 60µVrms, gives the device significant performance advantages. It is offered in 12 fixed output voltage alternatives with a ±1% voltage-output accuracy, supported over its complete -40C to 125C operational temperature range. Its 1.7V to 5.5V wide input voltage range provides it with the versatility to address many automotive application demands, while its 60µA quiescent current lessens standby power losses.

The device has an enable pin; a built-in active discharge function assures that the system starts up in a known state if the device has been disabled. Overtemperature and short-circuit protection are combined, including a 180mA foldback current limit, should a short circuit occur.
