Sealed solution for primary power distribution

Providing six MIDI fuses in one robust, IP66-compliant housing, the REDline Power Box 6F is the most recent development in the family of REDline Power Boxes, the power distribution platform from Würth Elektronik ICS, utilised for installation in battery, engine and chassis areas.

Measuring just 170mm x 112mm x 48mm, the compact sealed housing supplies space for up to six MIDI fuses in 32V and 70V versions. The high IP rating enables OEMs to install the box in chassis, battery and engine areas. The box can function at temperatures ranging from -40C to +85C.

The box can also be used in 48V onboard electrical networks thanks to its compatibility with 70V fuses, which can also be employed in electromobility projects.

OEMs acquire a cost-effective solution with a long service life compared to traditional outdoor fuse boxes that are unprotected. As all boxes in the family, the device is connectorised so it can be joined quickly to the cable harness in production, and it can be swiftly and efficiently serviced.
