The ExcelImate S HVSL 800 connector from Amphenol IPG and, available now from Rutronik, fulfil the demands of the LV215 industry standard for EV applications and impresses with its performance. The HVIL contacts in conjunction with a double-secured locking system, together with the IP69K standard tightness, provide maximum safety, particularly in harsh environments. This smaller version of the HVSL 1000 ExcelImate Plus series was specially developed for power transmission in inverters, rack PDUs, and batteries.

The connectors are offered in a two-pole and a three-pole version for conductor cross-sections from 35mm2 to 50mm2 and come in an orange-colored thermoplastic housing with contacts made from a silver-plated copper alloy. They can withstand a rated voltage of up to 1,000V at a rated current of up to 180A and work reliably in a temperature range of -40C to +125C. Their robust reliability makes them ideal for applications in e-mobility.

Typical uses include e-mobility, inverters, PDUs, and battery applications.
